A contemporary and high-energy power trio with captivating, catchy yet smooth and sustained compositions – heavily influenced by music greats like Muse, Karnivool and Deftones
This is INVIVO.
The band from Udine were launched in 2007 by mastermind Marco Celotti (singer, guitar, programming) and Elvis Fior (drums).
Their first album ‘Mars’ was produced in 2008 by Saoja Studio and represents a then unheard of mix of alternative and nu-prog elements that was previously impossible to experience live.
In 2009, the duo finally recruited a bass-playing comrade from Northern Italy, Michele Orselli (bass), and shortly thereafter released and toured their self-produced debut album, ‘Change Tomorrow’ (2010). Just a few short months later, the second EP ‘WARP’ followed and signalled INVIVO’s development towards an energetic, fat and well-developed sound.
As well as setting prog fans’ hearts racing, each playful element that won’t stop grooving just goes to show that these three boys really understand their craft. There was no doubt that there was plenty more where that came from.
Ultimately, the producer Fabio Trentini (Guano Apes, H-Blockx, Subway to Sally, Mr. Mister and more) heard about INVIVO and they started working together. The result of this collaboration was the electrifying and multifaceted album ‘Arise’, which INVIVO released off their own backs in 2013. Sadly, the public missed out on this prog masterpiece after a bad choice in partner.
At the end of 2013, the band met the artist and tour manager Kirsten A. Schuck. The Cologner was so fascinated by the band that he signed them and founded the label ‘Be True Music’ at the beginning of 2015. ‘Arise’ will be re-released with this label at 11/12/2015, and will be available as a digital re-release already on 04/09/2015 via Hannover’s SPV.
The next steps will be a small tour and a few festival appearances next year – some support shows are already in the pipeline.
There’s a lot to be excited about…
…or as Marco Celotti said, ‘We’re ready if you are. And you’d better be!’
